Biography
Dr. Syed Raza is a Consultant Cardiologist and Physician and Head of the Department of Medicine at Awali Hospital, Bahrain. He graduated from Aligarh University, India, in 1993 and subsequently pursued higher specialist training in the United Kingdom, where he completed MRCP and CCT and was awarded Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh (FRCP).
He received the Professor John Goodwin Prize for outstanding performance in the Diploma in Cardiology examination at Hammersmith Hospital, University of London, in 2001. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology, European Society of Cardiology, and European Society of Cardiovascular Imaging. His professional interests include cardiovascular imaging, heart failure, and acute cardiovascular care.
