Biography
Dr. Geta Bayu Genet is a pediatrician and clinical epidemiologist with approximately four years of experience as senior pediatrics and child health expert as clinical, researcher and medical educator. My work focuses on advancing evidence-based pediatric and child health care and improving healthcare quality and safety in low-resource settings specifically about pediatric cardiology, infectious disease and neonatal care. My philosophy of pedagogy is shaped by extensive training which was taken as Higher Diploma in Teaching Methods that helped me teaching and advising undergraduate medical students, post-graduate residents, and master's students. Additionally, I have been serving as leader for more than one year as academic coordinator of school of medicine at University of Gondar.
